The HX-1000 is an automatic roll-to-sheet cutting machine designed for nonwoven fabric, spunbond material and other soft flexible roll materials.

Unlike rigid paper or film, nonwoven materials can be soft, lightweight and easy to shift during feeding. The machine therefore needs to be configured according to the material width, thickness, basis weight, surface texture and roll condition to support stable feeding and repeatable cut lengths.

Operators can set the required cutting length and production quantity through the control system. The machine then automatically unwinds, feeds and cross-cuts the material into individual sheets for downstream packaging, medical, textile or industrial use.

For very soft, lightweight or unusual nonwoven materials, customers are encouraged to provide material specifications or physical samples so feeding behavior and finished cutting results can be evaluated before the final machine configuration is confirmed.

Nonwoven Roll to Finished Sheets

The HX-1000 converts continuous nonwoven rolls into individual sheets of preset length. The process is designed to reduce repeated manual measuring while maintaining stable feeding and consistent sheet dimensions across production batches. Because nonwoven materials vary in softness, thickness and basis weight, the finished cutting result should be evaluated according to the actual material when dimensional consistency is important.

FAQ

Questions Industrial Buyers Usually Ask

Practical answers about materials, cutting capability, configuration and purchasing this machine.

01 What is the best machine for cutting nonwoven fabric rolls into sheets?
An automatic nonwoven roll-to-sheet cutting machine is suitable when continuous nonwoven rolls need to be converted into fixed-length sheets. Machine selection should be based on roll width, material thickness, GSM, softness, roll diameter and required sheet length.
02 How do you automatically cut spunbond nonwoven fabric to a fixed length?
The roll is unwound and fed automatically to a preset length before cross cutting. The operator sets the required sheet length and quantity, and the machine repeats the feeding and cutting cycle automatically. For lightweight spunbond materials, feeding stability and alignment should be confirmed before production.
03 What GSM nonwoven fabric can an automatic cutting machine handle?
There is no single GSM range suitable for every nonwoven material because feeding behavior also depends on thickness, softness, surface friction and material structure. Provide the GSM together with a material sample or specification so the feeding and cutting configuration can be evaluated accurately.
04 How can nonwoven fabric be prevented from shifting during automatic cutting?
Stable nonwoven feeding depends on material guiding, feeding pressure, roll tension and alignment. Lightweight or soft materials may require a different feeding setup from paper or rigid film. Sample testing helps determine the appropriate configuration before production.
05 Can a nonwoven roll-to-sheet cutting machine cut different sheet lengths?
Yes. Different cutting lengths and production quantities can be set through the control system within the machine's applicable range. This is useful for manufacturers producing multiple nonwoven sheet sizes from roll material.
06 Can one machine cut different types of nonwoven fabric?
Potentially yes. Spunbond and other flexible nonwoven materials can be evaluated on the same machine, but suitability depends on width, thickness, GSM, softness and feeding characteristics. Buyers processing several materials should provide specifications or samples of each material before the configuration is confirmed.
07 Can a nonwoven cutting machine slit and cross-cut material in one process?
Optional longitudinal slitting can be evaluated when a wide nonwoven roll needs to be divided into narrower strips before cross cutting. The required configuration depends on the original roll width, finished strip widths, number of lanes and material characteristics.
08 Can printed nonwoven fabric be cut according to registration marks?
For printed nonwoven materials that require cutting at specific positions, an electronic eye registration system can be evaluated. Buyers should provide the print repeat length, registration mark details and required cutting position so the sensing configuration can be checked.
09 How do I choose a nonwoven roll-to-sheet cutting machine?
Start with the maximum roll width, material type, GSM, thickness, roll diameter, core size, required sheet length and target production output. For soft, lightweight or unusual nonwoven materials, actual sample testing is recommended before confirming the machine.
10 Can I test my nonwoven material before ordering a cutting machine?
Yes. Sample testing can be used to check feeding stability, alignment, cutting length and finished-sheet quality with the buyer's actual material. This is especially useful for lightweight, soft, textured or difficult-to-feed nonwoven rolls.
